Since the study of the ZWDS stars refer a lot to conversion of the star to qi giving it life, character and action, the names of the stars have been translated based on this. I find it much more meaniningful than to use the pin-yin of the original Chinese words. Anyway, a word for word or term for term translation cannot expose the full meaning of the original. A lot is lost when one gathers information through reading a translated text.
