Reversing Black and White 颠倒黑白

This is an example of using one's own mistakes as the standard to claim that the correct ideas of others are wrong 以己之非,非人之是:

This shows that the author does not understand Shuo Gua Zhuan. His understanding of Wu Xing is also limited to the material part. And saying that the calabash is a tall tree is simply ignorance.

Using a calabash to reduce the effect of the sickness star is more or less like saying "An apple a day keeps the doctor away." No one claims that the calabash can cure all illness. The clown is really amusing. We are truly thankful.

I propose we put calabashes in every hospital. Block the entry with them. The people in the hospitals will die because they can't get out, and sick people can't get in. That way we can say, there are no sick people in our hospitals any more. And we all owe it to the calabash. Such a wonderful vegetable, the calabash.

Dui means also a fruit from a vine - calabash is such a fruit.

The trigrams of Shuo Gua Zhuan depict various everyday things including classification of different kinds of plants and soil, tools, and forms of transportation. They may seem simplistic, but they are logical classifications in view of the culture at the time when these explanations were devised (how to fit everything possible in eight categories sensibly).

If everyone eats an apple a day and nothing else, very soon he will not need a doctor because he will be in Paradise eating the forbidden fruit everyday.

If most of inhabitants of my little country would eat an apple a day, that would mean that every day more than 15 million apples will be consumed - every day. Holland would need 5,475,000,000 apples a year. That's not healthy. That's ruining the green economy!

Not so long ago my friend was in the hospital. They didn't know what was wrong with him, and for weeks, he kept getting sicker and hope was fading for him. Then I took him a calabash. The next morning, the doctors came in and figured out what was wrong. They began treating him and he's been doing well for a few years now. The calabash didn't cure him, it helped solve the problem of what his illness was. He still talks about his "miracle gourd".

Dear Monica,

Very good example showing how the calabash works. However, it does not necessarily repeat every time you use it.

I remember one incident of my own experience. A sick child refused to take medicine and every time he was fed medicine, he vomited. I took a calabash and placed in next to his pillow. The next day I visited the family and his mother was happy her child could take medicine without vomiting and was getting better.

Recently I was visiting two very sick patients in hospital. I took them wu
luo, not large ones, and opened the top on the spot, took out most of the
seeds and put boiling water inside as per a European cure I heard about.

The patients rubbed the wu luo over the affected area, they said it felt soothing.

Both patients are now recovering well and one of them in the top two patients recovery rate for Whipples surgery.

Dear Jodi,

Fascinating. Nothing will ever change my mind about the power of the calabash.

Were they painted with anything?

Dear Joseph,

Regarding the sick child who refused to take medecine, did you know what was the Mountain Star in the palace where the calabash was put? Or do you consider that whatever the Mountain Star, the calabash should be put nevertheless, thus could run on its own?

It was mountain star 7 water star 2 in the bedroom.

It actually does not matter what the mountain star is.

Thank you. It is uncanny to see the healing Qi of the calabash runs whatever the mountain star, but very interesting!

In such cases, Dui is not a "flying" star but an "object" star, so to speak.
