Lunar Eclipse

The lunar eclipse was known as "Heavenly Dog Eating the Moon" in ancient China.
I combined the four photos taken from my window this morning.

Dear Joseph,

What a heavenly image!

I would love to hear any insights you have on the full moon or eclipses from an astrology point of view.

Dear Master Yu,

"The Heavenly dog eating the moon" was what my grandparents told me when I was a small boy and I believed them. It was not until it was taught in school, I always feared such an occasion. As it signifies disaster because of the anger of the heavenly dog of "Erh Lang Shen".

Anyway, has there been any major disaster on earth after a lunar eclipse?

What about solar eclipse? Is there any Chinese folklore tale?

Regards,
TY Tan

Dear Mary,

The full moon was bright. Our earth cast a shadow on its surface to make it dark resulting in the lunar eclipse.

We must not darken the brightness by creating a shadow in our mind. This is the root of fear.
